"Fonkfatherz Records" is an independant music label founded in 2015 by the Fonkfather (formerly known as Wadz), dedicated to bring you G-Funk, Modern-Funk and Hip-Hop/Soul authentic flavors.
Our ambition is to develop a sound inspired by our predecessors of the golden era, without nostalgia but in order to propose an alternative to Hip-Hop & Funk music lovers searching for some authentic flavors.
Fonkfatherz Records appears in 2015, in place of Smooth Swing Records (active from 2010 to 2014), releasing several projects until 2016. After a (too) long break, we are back in 2025 with our G-Funk and Funk flavors.
